I started at Industrial Cooling Equipment Ltd. in 1975 and left in 1983. I started as an assistant storeman as a temporary job, and things kind of progressed from there, ending up as a contracts/applications engineer working for Adrian Wontner.

ICE was full of funny and interesting people, one of the things I remember with particular fondness was the founding of the "Squooker Club" (originally a cross between "snooker" and "squash") which started life with creditable intentions but soon degenerated into a drinking club.

The Squooker Club organised many and varied outings, including trips to Nottingham and Doncaster, and some even further afield. Here are some pictures of a splinter group outing to Yorkshire.
